Summer is the energy of
growth, strength and power. Summer ingredients provide vitality to an incense recipe.
You can either build your own recipes by choosing two or
more aromatics from the Summer Season Ingredients list, or you can begin with one of the
incense recipes provided and make changes according
to your tastes.
You can also blend Summer ingredients with ingredients of
other properties, such as those that enhance
Strength, or perhaps with a few
known for their Healing properties, etc. The possibilities are
endless and filled with fun... enjoy!
Season Incense Recipes
4 parts Juniper Wood
2 parts Juniper Berries
1 part Galangal
6 parts Sandalwood
4 parts Rose Petals
1 part Benzoin
1 part Cassia
1 part Nutmeg
1 part Vanilla
of the Inca
2 parts Palo Santo Wood
1 part Gold Copal
1 part White Copal
is any unit of measurement you wish to use, provided it's consistent
throughout the entire recipe. We often use the conversion of 1 part =
1, 2, or 3
grams for small batches, and maybe 1 part = 5 to 10 grams for larger batches,
etc. If you prefer, you can use
powdered volume measurements with teaspoons, tablespoons and/or cups.
